Oceania Cruises Unveils 2027 Northern Europe Itinerary Collection

Oceania Cruises is targeting the 2027 summer season with a new series of voyages focused on the remote coastlines and cultural hubs of Northern Europe. The program utilizes the line’s smaller, boutique vessels to access ports often skipped by larger cruise ships, ranging from the Icelandic fjords to the Baltic capitals.

The 2027 lineup features itineraries spanning Scandinavia, the British Isles, Greenland, and Norway, designed to leverage the region’s long summer days. By utilizing ships such as Oceania Insignia, Oceania Marina, and Oceania Vista, the cruise line intends to reach intimate destinations like Rosendal, Norway, and Seydisfjordur, Iceland, alongside major urban centers including Stockholm and Copenhagen. According to Jason Montague, Chief Luxury Officer of Oceania Cruises, the strategy is built around providing a seamless experience for travelers to navigate complex coastal geography without the logistical hurdles of independent travel.

Shore excursions are a central component of the 2027 program, emphasizing local immersion rather than standard sightseeing. Travelers can participate in farm-to-table culinary tours in Visby, Sweden, or traverse remote Icelandic terrain by 4x4 to reach small coastal villages. The voyages vary in length, with offerings like the 14-day Castles of Ice & Stone and the 11-day Baltic Beauty, each balancing historical exploration with the natural scenery of the North Atlantic. These sailings are part of a broader expansion for the company, which maintains a portfolio of over 250 unique itineraries annually and continues to grow its fleet.
