As Los Angeles prepares for a high-profile summer of international soccer, The Anthem Hotel has opened a dedicated Soccer Legends Suite. The immersive space, unveiled June 10 in Inglewood, features rare memorabilia from Hall of Fame players and serves as a charitable anchor for youth development programs.
The suite, located within the LA Stadium District, functions as a living tribute to American soccer history. Guests are greeted by a room design that incorporates turf-inspired aesthetics and a soccer goal headboard. The walls display a curated collection of artifacts, including Tony Sanneh’s national team jersey, game-worn gear from DaMarcus Beasley, and custom cleats belonging to Landon Donovan. The project aims to bridge the gap between luxury hospitality and the raw energy of professional sports.Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the initiative carries a philanthropic mission. A portion of all proceeds from the suite will benefit The Sanneh Foundation, an organization established by Tony Sanneh to promote youth empowerment and community health. During the summer tournament season, guests booking the room will also receive a wellness gift package courtesy of brand partner Cymbiotika. According to Ruben Lopez, General Manager of The Anthem, the suite represents a broader strategy to transform guest accommodations into hubs that reflect the city’s major cultural and athletic milestones.
