A winner and a guest will secure a spot on the Queen Mary 2’s 450th transatlantic crossing this November, as Cunard marks the milestone with a sweepstakes. The prize includes the voyage from Southampton to New York, alongside airfare and hotel accommodations, extending the line's deep-rooted history of Atlantic travel.
The sweepstakes, open until July 31, 2026, invites participants to register at the company's designated giveaway portal. Beyond the primary entry, entrants can secure a bonus chance by sharing a photo from a previous journey or participating in a brief survey. This November 10–17 voyage serves as a capstone to a year of celebrations, coinciding with the brand’s participation in the Sail4th 250 festivities in New York Harbor this July.Cunard’s legacy dates back to 1840, when the RMS Britannia first departed Liverpool for Boston, effectively launching the era of scheduled steamship service. Today, the Queen Mary 2 remains the only active ocean liner maintaining a regular transatlantic schedule. Liz Fettes, the company’s Senior Vice President for North America and Australasia, noted that this 450th crossing serves as a testament to nearly 186 years of maritime connection between the United Kingdom and the United States.
