Paris-based Mendo has closed a €12 million Series A funding round to scale its generative and agentic AI adoption platform across Europe. Led by Ventech and Educapital, the investment follows a €3.5 million seed round last October, positioning the firm to help enterprises integrate AI agents into daily operations.
The startup focuses on the human element of AI integration, aiming to bridge the gap between deploying advanced models and ensuring employee proficiency. CEO and co-founder Quentin Amaudry notes that Mendo operates as the governance layer for company-wide AI, moving beyond simple task automation to orchestrate complex operations. Current clients, including PwC, Groupe Rocher, and Edenred, utilize the platform to map existing use cases and upskill teams for collaborative work with AI agents.Investors view this human-centric approach as a critical market differentiator. Audrey Soussan, General Partner at Ventech, cited the firm’s ability to solve the primary enterprise hurdle: adoption. By pairing artificial intelligence with human expertise, Mendo intends to establish itself as a primary infrastructure provider for European businesses navigating the transition to agentic workflows.
