At the SNEC 2026 exhibition in Shanghai, GCL System Integration showcased a pivot toward specialized photovoltaic applications. Moving beyond simple scale, the company introduced a suite of modules engineered for distinct environments, ranging from typhoon-prone coastal zones and high-altitude deserts to commercial rooftops requiring enhanced dust mitigation.

The company’s latest product matrix highlights a shift toward high-efficiency TOPCon and BC modules tailored for specific operational hazards. For maritime deployments, GCL SI utilizes double-coated glass and specialized encapsulants to resist salt spray and corrosion, while its steel-frame modules for desert projects are rated to withstand winds reaching 60 meters per second. These designs aim to improve project economics by extending hardware lifespan in environments where standard aluminum-frame components often degrade prematurely.

Beyond hardware, GCL SI is integrating digital oversight into its supply chain through the launch of Carbon Chain 3.0. Developed alongside Ant Digital Technologies, this platform employs blockchain and AI to track the carbon footprint of solar components from procurement through delivery. This data-driven approach supports the company’s expanded "module plus green certificate" service, which is now being deployed through strategic partnerships in Africa and Latin America. Recognized as a 2026 Kiwa-PVEL Top Performer, the firm is positioning these specialized solutions to capture value in increasingly complex global energy markets.
