FF EAI Robotics Launches Affordable Humanoids and Agrees to FFAI Merger

FF EAI Robotics Ecosystem and Faraday Future have unveiled two new humanoid robots, including the sub-$2,500 FF Nova, while simultaneously announcing a definitive agreement for FFR to acquire Faraday Future’s robotics assets in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $200 million.

The newly introduced FF Nova is positioned as an entry-level humanoid designed for developers and educational institutions. Priced at $2,490, the device functions as a mobile physical AI lab equipped with 20 degrees of freedom and a multimodal sensor array. The company is rolling out the product in three phases, beginning with an invitation-only release of 100 units. Additionally, the FF Nova Mini, a $299 bipedal robot aimed at students aged eight and older, has been launched alongside a comprehensive curriculum to introduce children to embodied AI concepts through hands-on programming.

To support these hardware releases, the companies have established the Physical AI Spark Program and a developer community utilizing the NVIDIA Isaac platform for reinforcement learning. These initiatives provide users with tools to train, validate, and potentially monetize robotic capabilities. The broader strategy is supported by the pending acquisition of Faraday Future’s robotics division, which will grant FFR control over the assets once the deal closes. Upon completion, FFR expects to emerge as a pure-play, U.S.-listed robotics entity with a clean balance sheet, aiming to secure a top-three industry position within the next five years.
