Asti DOCG Brings Piedmontese Tradition to Vinitaly USA

Aromatic expressions from Piedmont take center stage in New York as Vinitaly USA returns on October 26–27. The Consorzio Asti DOCG will use the platform to showcase its heritage, highlight regional producers, and officially toast the U.S. market debut of its latest innovation, the Asti Rosé DOCG.

The Consortium booth (H18-I18) serves as the primary hub for trade and media professionals to engage with the denomination. Producers including Cadgal, Cascina Castlet, Terrabianca, and Tenuta Langasco will present a range of Asti Spumante and Moscato d'Asti labels, offering a direct line to the traditions of the Piedmont region.

A highlight of the program is the celebration of Asti Rosé DOCG, scheduled for October 26 at 4 PM. This blend, crafted from Moscato Bianco and Brachetto grapes, merges the classic aromatic profile of the former with the fresh, fruit-forward characteristics and distinct color of the latter. Giacomo Pondini, Director of the Consorzio Asti DOCG, noted that the event provides a vital opportunity to demonstrate the diversity of the denomination following a year marked by significant industry recognition.
