The Pine Bluff-based financial holding company, which operates 220 branches across six states, posted diluted earnings per share of $0.32. Adjusted net income reached $79.0 million, or $0.54 per diluted share, reflecting the impact of various non-recurring costs including branch rightsizing and professional service fees.
President and CEO Jay Brogdon pointed to a focus on long-term value, noting that the firm successfully expanded its net interest margin by 8 basis points to 3.92% during the quarter. This growth was driven by disciplined loan and deposit pricing alongside a reduction in lower-yielding assets. While total loans stood at $17.5 billion at the end of September, the company continues to manage credit quality amid broader economic shifts, maintaining an allowance for credit losses at 1.37% of total loans.
