One Times Square Opens Ball Access to Public

For the first time in its century-long history, the home of the iconic New Year's Eve Ball is opening its doors for intimate, up-close encounters. One Times Square has launched a ticketed experience that invites visitors to inspect the massive Constellation Ball and even take home a piece of the display.

The new offerings provide two distinct ways to engage with the landmark. The standard experience, starting at $155, includes a behind-the-scenes tour, a photo opportunity with the ninth iteration of the Ball, and access to the building’s 360-degree Skywalk viewing deck. Guests also receive entry to 'Times Travel,' a multi-sensory exhibition documenting the history of the site. For those seeking a more tangible connection, the $295 premium package allows participants to personally remove a 2026 Waterford crystal from the structure. These crystals, commemorating America’s 250th anniversary, come in three sizes—Infinite Life, Infinite Liberty, and Infinite Happiness—presented in commemorative packaging.

Unveiled in November 2025, the current Constellation Ball stands as the largest in the site's history. It measures 12.5 feet in diameter, weighs 12,350 pounds, and features 5,280 Waterford crystals. According to General Manager Delfin Ortiz, the initiative aims to transform the building from a singular New Year's Eve focal point into a year-round destination for experiential entertainment. This expansion follows the introduction of the One Times Square Candy Experience and new event spaces, signaling a wider effort to revitalize the historic 26-story headquarters at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue.
