Noland’s tenure at ICW Group began in 2004, spanning roles across property underwriting, catastrophe modeling, and reinsurance. In his most recent capacity as Vice President of Catastrophe Underwriting, he managed the firm’s DIC and mono-line flood portfolios, earning industry recognition for his focus on advanced analytic capabilities. His work in the earthquake underwriting division became a benchmark for the company’s analytical approach.
Mark Moitoso, President of ICW Group, noted that the creation of this leadership position reflects the organization’s need to evolve its capital management as it continues to diversify. Noland, a UC San Diego alumnus and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, will now oversee the integration of risk management strategies across the entire enterprise. He describes his new mandate as an opportunity to build upon the firm’s existing foundation of underwriting discipline while supporting its next phase of growth.
