The company’s momentum centers on its EdgeAI intelligence layer, which has become a primary driver for new agency-of-record contracts. Adoption of the Creator AEO offering—launched in May to help brands navigate AI-generated search results—remains a key contributor. Furthermore, clients are increasingly consolidating their paid media amplification and TikTok Shop operations under the Later platform, signaling a broader market pivot toward integrated social commerce.
This financial expansion mirrors a growing creator ecosystem within the network. Active creator participation rose 30% compared to last year, with total payouts climbing 89%. CEO Scott Sutton noted that the demand for professionalized influencer marketing is pushing the firm to scale its internal infrastructure rapidly. To accommodate this, Later added 40 staff members in the third quarter alone and is currently recruiting for 100 additional roles. The company is also consolidating its operations in New York’s Flatiron district, where a new office and dedicated creator content studio will anchor its client services and technology teams.
