The facility will span approximately 88,579 square feet, housing 772 individual units ranging from compact 5x5 spaces to expansive 10x36 foot bays. By prioritizing climate control, the developers aim to mitigate humidity and temperature risks for stored assets. The site sits at a strategic intersection between I-80 and I-16, leveraging high visibility along Pooler Parkway to serve both local residents and regional businesses.
Mike Vahle, President of Self-Storage at Third Lake Development, noted that the project is a key milestone in the firm’s broader Southeast growth strategy. CEO Luke Thomas added that the development reflects a data-driven conviction in the area's long-term economic trajectory. The project team features Third Lake Construction as the general contractor, with design and engineering support provided by JMN Architecture P.C. and Kimley-Horn.
