The campaign relied on a rigorous research framework that included post-workout interviews, in-home discussions, and semiotic analysis. These efforts revealed that the need for recovery was not exclusive to high-performance athletes, but a priority for a broader demographic. This shift in perspective allowed the brand to craft a more inclusive message that resonated with consumers across various fitness levels.
Scott McDonald, Ph.D., President and CEO of the ARF, noted that the work demonstrates how research provides creative teams with necessary direction. Beyond the top prize, the campaign earned Gold in the Food & Beverage category and Silver for Best Brand Transformation. The awards were presented on October 14 at a ceremony in New York City, held in conjunction with the foundation’s Creative Effectiveness conference. Other notable Gold winners included Microsoft for its M365 with Copilot campaign, Abbott Laboratories for "This is Progress," and YouTube TV for "Don't Settle for Meh."
