The appointment marks a significant leadership shift for the company as it prepares for the retirement of Alan Corbett. Corbett, who has steered the Government Services division through a period of growth, will stay on through March 2027 to facilitate a handover. This transition is intended to ensure operational continuity for Bristow’s global stakeholders and government clients.
Armstrong arrives with a portfolio spanning commercial growth and complex program management across North America and Europe. Chris Bradshaw, President and CEO of Bristow Group, emphasized that the incoming executive’s background in highly regulated environments aligns with the company’s objective to expand its government service footprint. For his part, Armstrong highlighted the firm’s reputation for mission-critical safety as the foundation for his future efforts in the role.
