Blackview Debuts XPLORE 6 Flagship with 15km Telephoto Capability

Equipped with a 50MP periscope lens and a specialized teleconverter, the new Blackview XPLORE 6 claims to capture imagery at distances reaching 15 kilometers. This rugged flagship arrives in a market saturated with standard handsets, positioning its extreme 12000mAh battery and MIL-STD-810H durability as essential tools for remote field exploration.

The device centers its hardware profile on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, supported by 18GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of storage. Photography enthusiasts gain access to a quad-50MP system, where the periscope telephoto lens acts as the primary differentiator for long-range observation. The handset features a 6.73-inch 3.2K LTPO AMOLED display capable of 2600 nits peak brightness, supplemented by a secondary rear screen for quick data access and camera framing.

Endurance remains a core design priority, with the silicon-carbon battery pairing with 120W wired and 80W wireless charging. Beyond power, the chassis is reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an innovative dual-waterproof USB port that removes the necessity for protective rubber covers. Operating on DokeOS 5.3 based on Android 16, the unit includes the Hi Doki AI assistant for voice-driven tasks and environment-specific commands. The XPLORE 6 is currently available starting at $1,399 for the 512GB configuration, scaling to $1,599 for the 1TB model.
