The latest software release introduces a Text-to-vector feature, allowing designers to generate editable vector graphics from text prompts or existing images. Unlike static AI tools, Corel’s implementation focuses on utility: the generated output remains fully manipulatable, supporting styles such as line art and comics while respecting document color modes. This approach aims to accelerate early-stage development for motifs and large-format graphics without stripping the designer of creative control.
Beyond generation, the update significantly enhances PowerTRACE, the suite's bitmap-to-vector tool. With a redesigned interface and performance improvements reported to be four times faster, the tool addresses the common industry hurdle of converting low-resolution customer logos into scalable assets. This functionality is complemented by expanded web capabilities, including browser-based editing, custom font support, and cloud synchronization, which allow production teams to maintain consistency across various locations and devices.
