The new facility, known as Mumbai 3, comes as demand for high-performance computing surges across the region. With the site already fully pre-let to its first hyperscale customer, the development underscores the rapid expansion of the partnership, which launched just 18 months ago. Upon completion, the project will push the total operational capacity of the Navi Mumbai campus to 86MW, with potential for further growth up to 148MW.
To accommodate the intense thermal requirements of AI hardware, the building utilizes a hybrid cooling architecture that integrates traditional air cooling with direct liquid-to-chip systems. Power resilience is supported by a dedicated 220kV GIS substation on-site. Beyond technical specifications, the developers are emphasizing environmental and economic impact: the facility will run entirely on renewable energy and features a closed-loop system designed to achieve near-zero wastewater. The project is projected to generate over 700 jobs throughout its construction and operational phases.
