Genpact Targets Industrial Finance with New Agentic AR Suite

Mining and manufacturing giants face a complex landscape of long-cycle contracts and regional payment variations. To address these bottlenecks, Genpact has launched an AI-driven Accounts Receivable suite designed to automate collections, dispute resolution, and cash reconciliation, aiming to shift finance teams from reactive processing to proactive, data-backed strategy.

The suite integrates directly into invoice-to-cash workflows, leveraging agentic AI to prioritize collections based on payment signals and risk factors. By routing disputes through an automated tracking system, the platform seeks to minimize manual intervention. Internal estimates suggest these tools can drive up to 80% touchless cash applications and a 40% boost in collector productivity by streamlining routine tasks.

FLSmidth, a major supplier in the minerals processing sector, has already adopted the technology to standardize its global operations. CFO Roland M. Andersen noted that the platform allows his teams to move away from fragmented, region-by-region processing toward a unified, proactive model. This deployment marks a significant expansion of Genpact’s broader finance portfolio, which already includes agentic solutions for accounts payable and record-to-report cycles. Vijay Vijayasankar, Genpact’s Global Agentic AI Officer, stated that the goal is to transform the finance function into a growth driver by turning manual, siloed tasks into cohesive, AI-augmented operations.
