Traditionally, professional corporate trustees were accessible primarily to the wealthy, as bank trust departments frequently imposed high account minimums. Most families were left to rely on unpaid friends or relatives to navigate complex tax filings, recordkeeping, and beneficiary distributions. By securing a charter in Nevada, Trust & Will intends to bridge this gap, offering fiduciary services that accommodate modest estates alongside larger ones. The new entity operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Huge Legal Technology Company, Inc., functioning independently from the digital platform’s estate creation tools.
Data from the company’s 2026 Estate Planning Report highlights a growing preference for trusts over wills, with trust ownership increasing as will ownership declines. Currently, more than 6,100 trusts have already designated the company as a trustee, overseeing approximately $6.5 billion in assets. The firm offers various fiduciary models, including acting as a sole, co-, successor, or directed trustee. The latter allows financial advisors to retain control over investment management while the company handles the administrative and legal burdens of trust settlement.
Nevada serves as the operational base due to its favorable regulatory environment, which includes no state income or inheritance taxes and the allowance of dynasty trusts lasting up to 365 years. This expansion marks a strategic shift from a document-creation service to a full-cycle estate management firm, ensuring that the plans generated on their platform are executed with professional oversight.
