Starr brings a track record of raising over $2 billion for public equities and managing complex strategic transactions. His appointment formalizes a consultative role he previously held regarding the company’s growth strategy. Under the terms of his new contract, Starr has elected to receive his full salary in company common shares, while any future incentive grants remain strictly performance-based.
To align his interests with long-term shareholder value, Starr was granted 1.5 million stock options with a five-year term and an exercise price of 1.65. These options vest only after the company’s stock price hits specific benchmarks of 3.50, 4.50, and 5.50, measured over a 10-day volume-weighted average price. Vector Chairman Tommy Thompson cited these incentives as proof of the board’s confidence in Starr’s leadership as the firm scales its operations for the sports and regenerative medicine markets.
