The expanded agreement incorporates Veeva CTMS, eTMF, Study Startup, and Site Connect into IQVIA’s clinical research infrastructure. By integrating these tools, the companies intend to reduce friction in trial management while maintaining customer flexibility. Sponsors retain the option to select specific technologies—including IQVIA’s own proprietary solutions—for electronic data capture, randomization and trial supply management, and electronic clinical outcome assessments.
Richard Staub, president of Research and Development Solutions at IQVIA, noted that the integration provides clinical teams with a more cohesive operational environment. Veeva founder and CEO Peter Gassner emphasized that the move builds upon the partnership established last year, focusing on seamless service delivery. Further details regarding the collaboration are expected at the upcoming Veeva R&D and Quality Summit in Boston on October 20-21.
