The company, which operates machines in gas stations, convenience stores, and shopping centers across states including Florida, California, Arizona, and Texas, aims to disrupt a sector long criticized for opaque pricing. By displaying the exact exchange rate and fee on screen before a transaction is confirmed, the firm seeks to distinguish its model from competitors who often bury costs within fluctuating exchange rates.
Operations Manager Quincy Mathis noted that the company’s name is intentionally blunt to emphasize its market position. Beyond the flat fee, the operator allows customers to buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, and stablecoins like Tether and USD Coin by sending funds directly to personal digital wallets rather than holding them in custodial accounts. To streamline the user experience, the company introduced online identity verification that reduces the time spent at a machine to roughly two minutes.
