Innventure Faces Class Action Over Collapsed Data Center Deal

A 74% share price collapse has triggered a securities class action against Innventure, Inc. following revelations that a flagship 300MW AI data center project in Ontario was potentially non-existent. Investors now face an October 27, 2026, deadline to seek lead plaintiff status in the ongoing legal investigation.

The litigation centers on the company's promotion of its Accelsius NeuCool technology, which was allegedly slated for a massive deployment under an agreement with a firm called DarkNX. Throughout the class period between November 2025 and August 2026, Innventure management repeatedly assured shareholders that the project was on track for 2026 delivery. These claims faced intense scrutiny in May 2026, when Morpheus Research alleged the deal was a total fabrication, citing former employees who claimed they had never heard of the partner firm or the site.

Management eventually confirmed the collapse of the project on August 13, 2026, admitting the site was no longer available and abruptly suspending all revenue guidance. Hagens Berman, the firm leading the investigation, is now scrutinizing whether executives intentionally misled the public regarding the viability of these contracts. Partner Reed Kathrein noted that the inquiry is prioritizing evidence of whether the company knowingly provided false information to solicit investment. Shareholders who suffered significant losses are encouraged to contact the firm to assist in the recovery efforts.
