Robles BioCeutics Adds Attorney Mark Skeels to Advisory Board

San Diego trial lawyer and former Major League Baseball player Mark Skeels has joined the advisory board of Robles BioCeutics. The biotechnology firm, which specializes in regenerative dermatology and senolytic skin care, aims to leverage Skeels’ extensive legal background to guide its expansion into international markets.

Skeels brings over 25 years of experience to the company, including his tenure as a Deputy District Attorney for San Diego County and a Senior Chief Deputy City Attorney. A graduate of Harvard, Stanford, and the University of San Diego School of Law, he currently leads the Skeels Law Group. Founder and CEO Maria Robles emphasized that his capacity for high-stakes decision-making and strategic navigation is essential as the company scales its clinical-grade, stem-cell-derived product line.

For his part, Skeels highlighted the company’s unique position in the cosmetics sector, noting its application of FDA-standard intravenous-grade stem cells. His appointment follows a series of strategic board additions, including industry figures such as Leonhardt Ventures CEO Howard Leonhardt and Laurent Pharmaceuticals president Radu Pislariu. These moves occur as the company continues to bolster its intellectual property portfolio through peer-reviewed research and patent filings.
