To navigate the transition, the company is prioritizing regulatory compliance, specifically targeting EU Whole Vehicle Type Approval and a five-star Euro NCAP rating based on 2026 standards. Clifford Kang, Board Member and Vice President of SERES Group, emphasized that the firm is tailoring its intelligent driver assistance systems and service infrastructure to match specific European road conditions and local consumer lifestyles. This localization effort includes establishing a comprehensive network for spare parts, mobile servicing, and intelligent diagnostic support.
Technological development for these vehicles relies on the proprietary SERES MF Platform, which centralizes powertrain, chassis, and ADAS integration. Manufacturing is managed through the company's "Industrial Brain"-powered facilities, which coordinate logistics and data flows across the supply chain. Having secured a foothold in its home market with over 1.2 million drivers and 40 billion cumulative kilometers of testing, AITO currently holds a position in the top 10 of the Brand Finance Automobiles 100 ranking. The brand aims to leverage this foundation to introduce a blend of traditional craftsmanship and software-driven luxury to the European consumer base.
