The acquisition merges Spartan’s marketing strategy and SEO capabilities with Notion’s track record of launching over 1,000 websites since 2006. By absorbing the firm, Spartan aims to streamline operations for more than 70 clients who previously navigated fragmented vendor relationships. All active Notion hosting and maintenance contracts remain uninterrupted under the new ownership structure.
David Lillard, co-founder of Spartan, noted that centralizing web development with marketing efforts responds to a growing demand for unified digital management. Eschenbach and Bradley will transition into roles as Creative Director and Director of Web Development, respectively, ensuring continuity for existing accounts while expanding the technical resources available to Spartan’s broader client base. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
