The Home Depot Names 2026 Innovation Award Winners

Tool-free assembly and live-fire cooking dominated the stage at The Home Depot’s annual supplier meeting in Atlanta. The retailer awarded top honors to its Hampton Bay and Glacier Bay cabinet line, highlighting a shift toward consumer-focused products designed to simplify complex kitchen renovations for both professionals and DIY enthusiasts.

The winning cabinets, featuring ClickReady technology, allow for snap-together installation without the need for traditional tools. This design choice aims to reduce the time spent on assembly, reflecting a broader strategy by the retailer to lower barriers to entry for home improvement projects. Following the top award, the Even Embers Santa Maria Grill took first runner-up honors for its heat-control capabilities, while USG’s UltraLight Tough Gypsum Sheetrock Panels secured second place for their enhanced portability.

Beyond these top three, the company spotlighted a diverse range of products, from emergency pipe repair clamps and wireless smoke detectors to high-performance automotive pressure washers. Billy Bastek, executive vice president of merchandising, noted that these supplier contributions are essential to maintaining the retailer's competitive edge. The event also served to recognize specific partners across various categories, with Ryobi, Kohler, and Milwaukee securing titles in appliances, bath, and hardware respectively. Back to the Roots was distinguished as the Environmental Partner of the Year, underscoring the company’s focus on sustainable product development.
