The company’s Mango Drinkable Yogurt secured first place in the Tropical Flavored category, while the Strawberry variety topped the Open Class Drinkable Yogurt division with a 98.90 score. Beyond these top-tier wins, the YoGusto brand saw its low-fat Guanabana and Guava offerings land second and third place, respectively, in the Open Class Yogurts category.
This recognition arrives during the company’s 45th anniversary year. CEO Gustavo Márquez Jr. attributed the success to long-standing quality standards that have guided the firm since its 1981 founding in San Jose. In addition to the yogurt accolades, Marquez Brothers received multiple prizes for its traditional cheese lineup, including industry recognition for its Requesón, Queso Panela, Queso Fresco Cremoso, and Queso Cotija products.
