The anthology addresses issues including anxiety, social media pressure, grief, and identity. According to lead author and publishing director K.J. Kaschula, the collection aims to provide a respite from 21st-century digital noise, offering bite-sized narratives that can be read in under 15 minutes. The goal is to spark meaningful dialogue between teenagers and the adults in their lives, serving as a bridge for topics that are often difficult to initiate.
Seventeen contributors, including Dr. Jolene Arasz, Ilene Dillon, and R. Scott Holmes, provided stories for the volume. Early reception has highlighted the book’s ability to tackle heavy themes—ranging from bullying to family conflict—without adopting a condescending tone. Kaschula, a filmmaker and author known for the Brave Kids series, developed the project to empower young people to find their voice. The book is currently available through the Brave Healer Productions catalog.
