The itinerary follows the historic routes once pioneered by the airline across the Caribbean and Central America. On board, the experience centers on the legacy of the Clipper era, featuring a reimagined version of the exclusive Clipper Club lounges. Passengers will participate in aviation-themed presentations led by historians and industry experts, including Linda Freire of the Pan Am Museum Foundation and storyteller Willie Aames, who will recount the airline’s influence on global travel.
The culinary program aims to replicate the mid-century flying experience with vintage dishes like Sole en Croûte and Soufflé Grand Marnier, complemented by a cocktail menu featuring the signature Pan Am and Clipper drinks. Shore excursions are curated to mirror the airline’s past, such as visiting the former flying boat base in Trinidad and tracing navigator routes in Antigua. Paul Grigsby, vice president of itinerary planning for Holland America, noted that the collaboration seeks to merge the legacies of two iconic travel brands into a single, authentic journey.
