Gypsy Rose Blanchard Denounces Online Harassment After Ken Urker's Death

Following the sudden death of her former fiancé Ken Urker, Gypsy Rose Blanchard is pushing back against the wave of digital vitriol surrounding his passing. Blanchard, who shares a daughter with Urker, argues that the relentless speculation and cruel commentary online have exacerbated an already profound personal loss.

Urker died on October 1, his 34th birthday, at his home in Raceland, Louisiana. While authorities in Lafourche Parish continue to investigate the circumstances of his death, Blanchard has shifted her focus toward shielding his memory from public scrutiny. She recently shared a collection of screenshots on social media, documenting years of targeted harassment, insults, and threats Urker faced on platforms like Reddit and TikTok. She maintains that this digital abuse represents a systemic issue and is currently advocating for an anti-harassment initiative she calls “Kenan’s Law” to foster greater accountability online.

Beyond addressing the hostility, Blanchard is planning a private celebration of life for November. The tribute, which will feature a fireworks display, serves as a personal homage to a shared memory from a Fourth of July the couple spent together. Despite ongoing tensions involving Urker’s family members, Blanchard has participated in private viewings and remains committed to ensuring that their daughter, Aurora, grows up with a positive understanding of her father’s character, independent of the narratives currently circulating on social media.
