The agreement marks a shift for Southlight, which now functions as an authorized reseller for Google Voice and Google Workspace. By bridging the gap between legacy carrier relationships and modern cloud environments, the firm aims to simplify complex migrations. Organizations can maintain their current telecommunications setups while leveraging Google’s infrastructure, a move designed to enhance reliability and routing flexibility for enterprise-grade communications.
CEO Tina Telson noted that the partnership combines Google’s technology with the specialized support and lifecycle management required by smaller organizations. Beyond licensing, Southlight will offer migration, implementation, and ongoing technical maintenance. The initiative also ties into the company’s broader DIGI-Command platform, which handles cloud service provisioning and digital transformation tasks. For channel partners, the deal opens new avenues to distribute Google’s productivity tools backed by Southlight’s deep expertise in SIP connectivity and call routing.
