Crawford’s appointment follows a long-standing involvement with the firm, where he acted as a primary architect for 17 add-on acquisitions and two divestitures. In his new capacity, he will oversee the company's finance, accounting, treasury, and risk management functions, reporting directly to CEO Marvin Riley. He replaces John Walker, who shifts to the role of EVP of Transformation to spearhead internal enterprise development initiatives.
His track record includes work on more than 40 transactions valued at over $5.5 billion. Before his tenure at Platte River Equity, Crawford held roles at Jefferies and earned an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. He will remain a member of the MES Board of Directors while operating from the company's Denver office, focusing on capital allocation as the firm scales its support for North American mission-critical workers.
