Spencer Stuart Overhauls CEO Advisory Leadership

Spencer Stuart is realigning its executive advisory operations by naming Colin Graham as the new Global Head of its Board and CEO Practice. The firm also recruited Sandy Ogg and Chris Gagnon from CEO.works, signaling a strategic shift toward integrating leadership development directly with enterprise value creation.

Graham, who previously steered the firm’s Global Industrial Practice, takes the helm immediately to guide boards through succession planning and long-term performance shifts. The arrival of Ogg and Gagnon, both veterans in organizational transformation, provides the firm with a specialized toolkit to align leadership appointments with specific business outcomes.

Ogg joins as a Senior Advisor, bringing his background from Blackstone and Unilever, while Gagnon joins as a Partner following his tenure at McKinsey & Company. This talent infusion aims to bridge the gap between human capital assessment and the financial agendas of modern CEOs. By formalizing this connection, the firm intends to move beyond traditional executive search, positioning itself as a direct partner in the value-generation process for its global client base.
