The litigation centers on the period between September 4, 2025, and September 21, 2026, during which Endava allegedly issued assurances regarding the integrity of its financial statements. These claims are now under scrutiny following the company's abrupt announcement that its quarterly and annual financial reports would be delayed. The disclosure came alongside news that the board had placed Chief Financial Officer Mark Thurston on administrative leave, citing concerns raised by outside auditors over the accounting treatment of specific customer and supplier agreements.
Reed Kathrein, the partner at Hagens Berman leading the investigation, noted that the firm is probing whether Endava will be forced to restate historical financial results. Investigators are also examining whether the accounting irregularities undermine the company’s previous claims that its strategic shift toward AI was gaining significant traction. For now, the firm is encouraging investors who suffered substantial losses to come forward before the November 30, 2026, lead plaintiff deadline.
