The Weather Company Partners with HAA to Bolster Corporate Climate Readiness

Eighty-two percent of workers report being directly affected by extreme weather, yet most organizations lack a strategy to map these risks. To bridge this gap, The Weather Company has joined the Health Action Alliance as the official weather intelligence partner for its Extreme Weather + Work initiative.

The collaboration aims to provide over 11,000 employers with predictive data and meteorological briefings to move from reactive crisis management toward proactive resilience. By integrating custom risk data into business continuity plans, companies can better navigate supply chain volatility and protect their workforce against climate-related disruptions.

This partnership arrives as the current El Niño pattern complicates standard seasonal forecasting. With historical playbooks becoming less reliable, meteorologists from The Weather Company are working to help leaders translate complex atmospheric data into specific operational strategies. Founding participants in the initiative, including Google, Disney, and CVS Health, will gain access to executive workshops and real-time readiness updates to help manage risks ranging from Pacific Northwest droughts to severe flooding in the Southeast.
