The system functions as a continuous cycle: Bluedrop installs advanced water purification units, while Boomerang provides the infrastructure to bottle that water in custom-branded, reusable vessels. Guests refill these bottles at designated stations, and used containers are collected, sanitized, and returned to circulation. This model has already been implemented at the Black Desert Resort in Ivins, Utah, where management reports a reduction in packaging waste alongside improved operational efficiency.
Beyond waste reduction, the collaboration targets hospitality ESG goals by providing measurable data on carbon impact. The service, now available throughout the United States and the Caribbean, includes full installation and maintenance support. Brendan Dickinson, CEO of Bluedrop Water, noted that the initiative addresses a growing demand from guests for premium, sustainable amenities that do not compromise on convenience.
