Mynd.ai Taps Bin Shen as CEO Amid Executive Shakeup

Shen arrives at the Atlanta-based company with a background in cloud computing and global partnerships, having held senior roles at Microsoft, EchoStar, Google, and Honeywell. His mandate focuses on scaling the company’s AI-driven platform and expanding its digital ecosystem. Giterman, who joined in 2023 and took the CEO role in 2025, will remain as an advisor to the board to facilitate the handover. During his tenure, Giterman oversaw a restructuring of the company’s cost base and a shift in product strategy. Simon Leung, Chairman of the Board, credited Giterman with stabilizing the organization while framing Shen’s appointment as a necessary evolution for the company’s next growth phase. Mynd.ai, which provides interactive hardware for over 1 million learning spaces worldwide, will continue its search for a permanent Chief Financial Officer.
