Based in Lakewood, Colorado, the retailer maintains a network of 175 stores across 22 states. The Cornucopia Institute, an independent watchdog funded primarily by private donations, uses such partnerships to fund its policy advocacy and consumer resources. Melody Morrell, executive director of the institute, stated that the campaign functions as an investment in sustainable agriculture, helping to keep independent organic farmers on their land and fostering demand for high-quality food brands.
