Developed alongside creative agency Dayjob, the redesign trades previous visual clutter for a minimalist, high-contrast look. The new packaging features a bold wordmark and a simplified hierarchy of functional benefits, with flavor graphics serving as the only splash of color. While the visual language is sharper and more premium, founder Richard Laver emphasized that the brand’s core heart remains untouched. The company is actively positioning itself between performance-driven drinks and wellness-focused alternatives, doubling down on the 16-ounce format that core consumers still prefer.
The strategic shift extends to product composition and market reach. While the energy drink formula remains consistent, the company has increased the fiber content in its energy gummies. This transition comes as Lucky Energy experiences a period of rapid expansion, with the brand projected to reach 17,000 retail locations nationwide by the end of 2026. With established footprints in Walmart, H-E-B, and Sheetz, the company is using this aesthetic evolution to solidify its shelf presence in an increasingly crowded cooler. Consumers can expect the new identity to hit retail shelves, Amazon, and the brand’s website throughout the fourth quarter of 2026.
