The NVTC selection process filtered nominees through an independent panel, categorizing winners into Cyber Companies, Government Contractors, Cyber Executives, and Rising Stars. Among the recognized organizations are firms like Andesite AI, GuidePoint Security, and ManTech, while individual leaders from the National Institutes of Health, Dominion Energy, and Booz Allen represent the executive cohort. These honorees focus on developing technologies designed to mitigate AI-driven threats and protect critical infrastructure.
Formal recognition will occur on October 28, 2026, during the NVTC Cyber Summit at Appian’s headquarters in McLean, Virginia. The event will host a cross-sector dialogue involving representatives from Google Cloud, Dominion Energy, and the U.S. Department of the Air Force. Discussions are slated to address the intersection of AI risk and emerging security challenges, underscoring the region's concentration of federal agencies and private sector expertise. According to NVTC president Jennifer Taylor, the group aims to highlight those maintaining a defensive edge in an increasingly volatile digital landscape.
