The final sale price lands significantly lower than the initial $10 million expectation set when the property hit the market in July 2025. According to reports, the actor reduced the asking price to $8.2 million in January before accepting the final offer, which sits roughly $2.5 million below his original goal. The transaction concludes a long period of uncertainty for the 4,026-square-foot estate, which sits on a private 1.5-acre lot near Griffith Park.
Known as the Seyler House, the 1922-built property carries a storied reputation among Hollywood elite. Previous residents include Robert Pattinson, Jim Parsons, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The home features three bedrooms, three-and-a-half bathrooms, and extensive outdoor amenities, including a swimming pool, a cold plunge, and a koi pond. Paul previously described the residence as a "safe haven" for his wife, Lauren Parsekian, and their two children.
The decision to sell followed the January 2025 wildfires, which served as a primary catalyst for the family's move abroad. Paul noted that the environmental stress of the region prompted their shift to France, fulfilling a long-held ambition to expose their children to a different culture.
