Sandy Inventor Targets Surveying Accuracy with Bolt Center Cap

A Sandy, Utah-based inventor is looking to streamline construction site workflows with the Bolt Center Cap, a patent-pending device designed to consolidate centering, stabilization, and ergonomic prism alignment into one compact unit, replacing the cumbersome manual tools currently standard in the field.

The invention addresses specific pain points for construction surveyors who frequently struggle with the precision required for aligning prisms over bolt templates. By integrating these essential functions into a singular design, the device aims to minimize the physical strain associated with manual adjustments while simultaneously increasing the overall accuracy of site measurements.

Currently, a prototype of the tool is available for inspection. The design has been submitted to InventHelp, which is now actively seeking manufacturing or licensing partners to bring the product to market. Parties interested in the commercial potential of the device can reach out to the company's Pittsburgh office for further technical specifications or licensing details.
