The ownership collective is led by Suprette, Jett Sports, Fifth Down Capital, Chase and Stephanie Coleman, and Jackie Garcia. Beyond the investment firms, the roster features significant star power, including basketball legend Lisa Leslie and track and field standout Sha'Carri Richardson. They are joined by a cross-section of professional athletes such as NFL Hall of Famer Champ Bailey, Super Bowl champion Ryan Clark, and volleyball veterans Aury Cruz and Phil Dalhausser.
This group intends to leverage Miami’s deep-rooted volleyball culture—which spans beach, club, and international communities—to build a sustainable professional pathway. The team will function as the 10th franchise in the LOVB Pro Eastern Conference. By integrating with existing local youth organizations like Club 305 Volleyball and Miami Reign, the franchise aims to bridge the gap between junior development and the professional stage. For investors like Leslie, the project represents a chance to establish a permanent footprint for women's athletics in a major financial market that has long lacked a professional women's franchise.
