John Lewis, Asda and Morrisons Lead 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards Finalists

Retail giants including John Lewis, Asda, Morrisons, H&M, and Waitrose have secured spots on the official 2026 RTIH Innovation Awards shortlist. The selection highlights companies successfully deploying advanced technologies to reshape omnichannel shopping, customer experience, and supply chain efficiency following a record number of entries this year.

The finalists will now face a panel of industry judges who will determine the winners across 23 distinct categories. The awards span critical operational areas, including Bricks and Mortar Innovation, AI integration, and Sustainable Retail. Notable contenders include Dunelm, Paul Smith, and Waitrose, all recognized for their efforts in bridging the divide between physical store environments and digital retail demands.

Beyond established retail names, the shortlists feature emerging technology firms and specialized service providers such as Scurri, TCS, and Theseus Robotics. New categories for 2026, specifically Retail Media, Hospitality Technology, and RFID implementation, reflect the industry’s shift toward data-driven monetization and highly automated fulfillment models. The final winners are set to be unveiled on November 4th at an awards ceremony hosted at The HAC in Central London, presided over by comedian Aurie Styla.
