PPX functions as a central pillar within the Prohibition Partners portfolio, offering clients a consolidated suite of services that previously required separate management. By merging proprietary market data with Whitman’s curated connections, the platform aims to provide operators with strategic guidance across the UK, EU, and Latin American markets. The service suite includes direct introductions to capital sources, visibility through media channels like Cannabis Europa, and regulatory navigation.
Whitman, who spent over a decade operating independently in the sector, brings her existing client base into the new structure. She emphasizes that the platform is designed to serve businesses at all growth stages, rather than just large-scale operators. This approach is underpinned by a stated focus on compliance and ethical business practices, with software provider Cannavigia cited as a template for the operational discipline she intends to implement.
Stephen Murphy, CEO of Prohibition Partners, noted that the appointment fills a critical gap by turning the firm’s existing research and event infrastructure into actionable outcomes. Beyond her commercial mandate, Whitman plans to leverage her position to continue advocacy work, including the expansion of the EmpowHer Cannabis Society, an international network for women in the industry she co-founded in 2023. As federal rescheduling progresses in the US, Whitman views the UK and Europe as prime regions for this integrated service model.
