Moxy East Village, Moxy Lower East Side, and Moxy Times Square claimed the 12th, 13th, and 18th positions respectively in the competitive New York City market. Beyond the East Coast, the AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles also garnered attention, ranking 18th among the top hotels in Los Angeles. It remains the only AC Hotel property worldwide to appear on the publication’s 2026 lists.
Mitchell Hochberg, President of Lightstone, attributed the sustained success to a strategy of blending authentic local design with accessible pricing. Each property is curated to mirror its specific neighborhood—from the countercultural roots of the East Village to the historic entertainment legacy of the Lower East Side. This approach extends to the West Coast, where the AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles pairs its Spanish heritage with the distinct artistic energy of its surrounding district. The full results of the survey, which reflect travel experiences shared by 798,867 participants, are featured in the November issue of Condé Nast Traveler.
