Trellist’s approach moves beyond simple automation, treating AI integration as a disciplined redesign of internal business processes. By mapping the complex web of handoffs between departments—from marketing and sales to operations—the firm identifies specific nodes where AI can effectively shorten, reorder, or eliminate redundant steps. This implementation strategy relies on custom MCP servers and secure connectors that allow AI agents to function within existing infrastructure like Salesforce and Amazon Bedrock.
For the logistics client, the project unfolded in three distinct phases. First, Trellist consolidated disconnected marketing and sales data into a real-time pipeline. Next, they embedded AI into development and quality assurance workflows to reclaim 30 percent of the team's time. Finally, the team deployed an AI agent trained on call-tracking data to resolve recurring customer inquiries. Gavin Garrison, Partner and Account Leader at Trellist, noted that the model functions by testing the limits of end-to-end automation, then refining connections where human intervention remains necessary. The project concludes with full enablement, transitioning control of the new AI capabilities to the client's internal staff.
