The project, located within the Avenue South at Centerra development, is designed by Gensler to prioritize employee well-being and long-term operational flexibility. Plans for the building feature a central atrium designed to flood the interior with natural light, alongside the extensive use of mass timber to provide a connection to the Colorado landscape. Beyond office space, the structure will integrate ground-floor retail to serve both staff and the local community.
Brad Jeanneret, president and CEO of Hensel Phelps, noted that the facility aims to foster collaboration and innovation as the firm prepares for its 2027 milestone. The construction project is ambitious in its sustainability targets, with the company pursuing both LEED v5 Gold and WELL Platinum certifications. Jonas Philipsen, design director at Gensler’s Denver office, stated that the design reflects the contractor’s legacy while emphasizing a forward-looking approach to workplace performance.
