As AI agents increasingly handle cross-company transactions and financial negotiations, the lack of a trusted audit trail has stalled enterprise adoption. The new platform addresses this by separating an agent's detailed activity logs—such as prompts, model outputs, and policy decisions—from the cryptographic proof of its actions. While raw telemetry remains within customer-controlled Google Cloud Storage, immutable proofs are anchored to the Sui blockchain and the Walrus data platform.
This architecture is designed to help organizations navigate the EU AI Act, which imposes penalties of up to €15 million or 3% of global annual turnover for logging failures starting in 2027. By utilizing the open Agent2Agent protocol, companies can perform rapid dispute resolution and incident reconstruction, identifying whether a failure stemmed from prompt injection, model errors, or unauthorized policy bypasses. The system also integrates with the Sui Agent Payments facilitator, enabling agents to authorize, log, and settle financial transactions instantly. Mysten Labs CEO Evan Cheng noted that the collaboration aims to provide a neutral, resilient infrastructure capable of maintaining accountability at the speed of autonomous commerce.
